Perhaps we are not alone

I was just looking up at the sky one day, when just all of a sudden, a thought hit me.
"What is beyond the sky above me that I am staring at?"

Could it be that there is something out there? Beyond space and time?
Since our universe is soooooo huge, how could it be possible that our planet is the only one that holds life?

It is said that the basis of all lifeforms on earth is water. So is it possible to find another planet out there with water on it? Of all the cosmic atoms floating around, why wont it be possible for 2 parts of hydrogen and 1 part of oxygen to just collide randomly and bond?

Of all the years that our galaxy have gone through (a few billion to be exact), the chances that there is something out there besides us is kinda high. Maybe they might not look like the complex lifeforms here on earth, but who knows? After all, everything has a beginning.
